Aimed at those looking for a way into the hobby but wanting an easy to maintain, mess free, simple outdoor model or for those people who truly believe that bigger is better, the Genius 500 is the perfect place to start.

With an all up weight of 1020g this is our largest ready to fly electric helicopter model to date, and it benefits from all the latest technology and developments including carbon fibre main blades spanning a huge 785mm, 120' CCPM mixing, a heading hold gyro paired with a fast tail servo for ultimate tail control over the belt driven gearbox, a 40a brushless ESC and brushless out runner motor powered by a whopping great 11.1v 2400mah Li-Po battery pack.

The size and weight of this model give it presence and stability in the air, whilst the brushless power pack and CCPM set-up give it all the agility you could want for learning, right through to fast circuits and basic 3D manoeuvres.

The orders are given via a 6 channel 2.4GHz computerised transmitter, with 5 model memory, dual rates and 5 point pitch and throttle curve adjustment and received at the other end by a 6 Channel 2.4GHz receiver.

Behind the heavy duty painted lexan canopy, you can see an open framework, allowing easy access to the machines internals for those moments when light maintenance is required and the 750mm journey along the model to the open tail gearbox, the tail belt and pulleys are on display for inspection and increased cooling during those heavy duty flights.
