Race inspired features on an entry level ready-to-run 1/8th buggy. The FTX Frenzy has it all and is the perfect entry into the exciting world of fuel powered nitro r/c fun. The Frenzy may well have an RTR tag, but it comes with a the latest in radio equipment and extras. FTX have chosen to use the reliable Etronix EX2G 2.4ghz radio system for crystal free signal, while steering loads are handled by an Etronix 9kg torque rated, metal geared servo. For reliability and power FTX went to Taiwan for the durable FTX CXP Vertex 3.5cc pull start engine and coupled it with a cool polished aluminium tuned pipe. The shaft drive, three oil differential 4wd transmission features all metal gears and a steel spur gear for added reliability. Race inspired extras such as 16mm large bore, oil filled shock absorbers with threaded bodies for spring adjustment come standard. As does 4mm aluminium shock towers and chassis. FTX chose to go with the more sutble and understated gun grey finish for all aluminium parts, rather than some of the more gaudy colours currently on show. Adjustable suspension turnbuckles are included front and rear as are anti-roll bars. Drive to the front wheels is taken care of with front universal driveshafts. Finally the latest styling was considered when we decided on how the Frenzy was to look. Top racers are all switching to cab forward body styles for a more aggressive look to their rides. We felt it was only right to bring that race look to the RTR market. Finished off with a high traction wing and wrap decal for good measure. So now you are covered.
