With innovative features such as the wedge shaped crankcase to promote better and more even cooling and thus greater power and longer engine life, the RMX 40 and 48 are two of the most powerful engines of their size available, whilst costing less than virtually all their competitors!

Power is only one element of a top quality engine. Precise throttle control is also vital, so RMX engines come with a newly developed twin needle carburettor, which gives total control of engine R.P.M., from a slow yet reliable idle, through instantaneous pick-up, to a rock solid full-throttle performance. Completing the list of requirements for any model engine is an effective low power loss silencer. RMX engines excel in this respect, with a high volume, twin baffled silencer, giving highly effective silencing whilst maintaining performance. RMX specifications includes twin ballraces, ABC piston/liner assembly, specially designed crankcase for greater rigidity (yet minimum weight), twin bushed conrod and a tough 1/4”- 28 threaded crankshaft with extended length to allow the fitting of the high pitch propellers commonly used today.
